Hello! My name is Tabitha. I go by Tabi to the people who know me. I think Tabitha sounds like an older woman, so I shortened it for now and no, I cannot wiggle my nose like the daughter on  Bewitched.  Although, I do have blue eyes like her. Anyway, I am 25 years old. I transferred here after a few major changes. Going from a science degree to accounting took some time. I have been a senior a few years now. I make myself feel better by saying that I have two associate degrees. Accounting is something that has always been intriguing to me. It is interesting to me because accounting is like a huge difficult puzzle piece. Everything has its own place in accounting and it is my job to find it or fix the placement. Growth Mindset: Learning from other students

" Sometimes when you run into an obstacle and you get pushed back, you start to forget why you were trying so hard in the first place so it helps to take a step back and imagine your goal."  This is something that will help me tremendously right now. With everything that has gone on in my personal life this year, it can be hard to focus on school even if I have a passion for what I am studying. This semester's classes are difficult and I have not prepared mentally for this semester at all. My college journey has been longer than most because of many major changes, but I am trying to not let the negative thoughts and procrastination set in.  "I think the biggest thing for me is not comparing myself to others.
